Measurements of low nitrogen samples, including starch, beer, and nutritional drinks, were conducted using the nitrogen/protein analysis devices "FP828" and "FP928." Both devices are nitrogen analyzers, but the sample weight for the "FP828" is limited to 1.0g, while the "FP928" is designed to analyze samples over 1.0g (up to 2g or 3g depending on the sample). By selecting the appropriate device based on their characteristics, a wide range of samples can be measured. 【Measurement Procedure (Excerpt)】 <FP828> ■ Weigh samples of 1.0g or less in sample containers such as tin foil or capsules and load them into the device. ■ The sample falls into the furnace and is completely combusted in a pure oxygen airflow. ■ The combustion gas exits the furnace, moisture is removed, and it is collected in a tank called a ballast. ■ The gas is equilibrated in the tank and then a fixed amount is taken. ■ It is introduced into the carrier gas for measurement, which is an inert gas. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.
